I’m no yo-yo dieter though. I’m trying to tackle this weight thing the healthy way, by eating nutritionally and working out. The Taco Bell lunch I had yesterday is so far off of this plan that I’m ashamed to admit it here. So, as my beautiful and toned sister (she owns a gym – how am I living? I don’t know) would likely tell me, stop making excuses and just start living healthier now. And that’s what I’m going to do.
Back to tracking my ~1,500 calorie, 1,400 mg sodium diet (note – diet’s not a dirty word. It just means the foods you eat. Doesn’t have to be Jenny Craig, Low Carb, etc… it can simply mean what you eat). Keeping it under control. Now I have to plan my work out tomorrow – ugh. I’ll let you know how I’m doing in a week or so.

I totally agree. I know when I don't eat my salads and have flavored lattes is when it starts to show. I also try to make it to spin class once a week, and I can tell when I don't make it. In my 20's it was a much different story! As soon as I hit 30, I can't be so cavalier about it!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a slippery slope of cheating for me. First my workouts lessen, then I go out to eat and lose all portion control (plus I eat every roll in sight). Then before I know it I'm eatting poptarts and running to taco bell for lunch.
