A Virginia Thing

While I had a "case-of-the-Monday's" hangover today, I think it's finally starting to wear off. It was a big help that I got my most recent purchase from 1canoe2's Etsy shop. Moving past Apple and Moses

I read an awesome article on baby names today.  And before you go projecting that I'm nesting and the primordial baby-making clock started ticking, think again.  My husband and I are constantly talking about the names for our future brigade of bulldogs and look at names databases from time to time, trying to find uncommon but not too unusual names.  The Daily Beast just came out with a list of 100 Uncommon Baby Names, thanks to baby naming veteran author, Pamela Redmond Satran (Beyond Ava & Aiden was her maiden book).

Some are a bit far-fetched for me, but here are some of my Faves:
